MALLORCA TODAY - Balcony-diving measures being contemplated

The phenomenon of balcony-diving from hotel balconies into pools, one that can go disastrously wrong, is coming under the microscope of the Balearic Government as it looks at ways of trying to stamp it out. One measure might be to follow the example of Lloret de Mar where the local authority has approved a provisional law that will result in fines to hotels where balcony-diving ("balconing", as it is referred to) is practised.
