A clear, calm morning, a cloudless sky and a local maximum of 12.1C at 08:30 following a night of considerable warmth in parts and distinct chill in others - the variance in the northern area of the island can be significant. The wind seems to now be reduced to only light breezes through this week, with the temperatures increasing to those previously predicted "spring-like" values.
Afternoon update: An inland high of 18.9C, a bit lower on the coast, and a fine sunny day, the sun feeling strong but the air with a normal chill for March.
