MALLORCA TODAY - Weather Alcúdia and Pollensa 15 January 2013
No Frills Excursions
Morning high (8.45am): 11C
Forecast high: 15C
Sea conditions (northern Mallorca; Alcúdia and Pollensa bays): Northwest 4 to 5, reaching 6 to 7 during the morning, and easing to 5 by the evening. Swells of one or two metres. Risk of storms.
Sunny with cloud and one again a huge divergence in temperatures from just over four degrees to a coastal high of 11C. Yellow alerts out for wind and coastal conditions, the latter marked by the strength of winds at sea coming in on the Mestral and Tramuntana breezes. The snow threat at low levels has all but gone for the next few days, but rain and wind will be features, though perhaps less risk of rain than had been previously forecast.
Evening update (18.00): A deterioration during the day with rain in the afternoon. A high of just over 15 degrees but generally temperatures have been between 13 and 14.
