MALLORCA TODAY - Weather Alcúdia and Pollensa 12 January 2013
No Frills Excursions
Morning high (8.15am): 6C
Forecast high: 17C
Sea conditions (northern Mallorca; Alcúdia and Pollensa bays): West 3 to 4 eventually reaching Southwest 5. Swells increasing to one metre.
A clear, cold morning. Sunny all day, but it will be last day that the sun dominates. The prospect of some rain tomorrow and projecting ahead ... there is a risk of rain for Wednesday (Sant Antoni Eve) and especially for strong winds, which could bring their own risks because of the fires for the celebrations. And on Thursday, a strong chance of snow near to or at sea level.
Evening update (18.00): A high of 18.4C on a mostly sunny and warm day, but a breeze was coming in and there is going to a stronger breeze tomorrow, with the maximum temperatures falling by around three degrees.
