The crisis at Pollensa town hall regarding the make-up of the council and the support for mayor Tomeu Cifre's Partido Popular deepens. Since the regional election in 2011, the PP has governed as a coalition minority, but now it has real problems because of the splits caused by the merger of La Lliga (its partners in the administration) and the Convergència. Opposition parties at an extraordinary meeting of the council have forced a motion, agreed by all, that a plan should be presented within 15 days that sets out who exactly is doing what at the council, as, at present, it is not clear where responsibilities lie.
