Sea conditions (northern Mallorca; Alcúdia and Pollensa bays): Northwest 3 to 4 and at intervals 5, backing West during the afternoon. Wave swells up to two metres with rain and risk of storm.
Similar morning to yesterday with sun and cloud. The cloud formation looks identical to yesterday, so it may well rain quite soon, though the rain risk is relatively low today. Alerts in place as from tomorrow for wind and coastal conditions, and they are likely to be in place for much of the week.
Afternoon update (17.30): Rather better day than it looked as though it might have been in that there was a good deal of sun and clear skies, but nippy with highs just over 14 degrees.
