MALLORCA TODAY - Weather Alcúdia and Pollensa 13 January 2013
No Frills Excursions
Morning high (8.30am): 12C
Forecast high: 14C
Sea conditions (northern Mallorca; Alcúdia and Pollensa bays): Southwest 4 to 5 and at intervals 6, veering during the morning to West and Northwest and easing by the evening to 3 to 4. Risk of rain and storm.
A mainly bright morning with some cloud. Quite mild but unlikely to get that much warmer during the day. The outlook is unstable for the coming week, Sant Antoni Eve looking potentially wet and very windy, but the forecast for the snow line now places this much higher, so seemingly little chance of any falls near sea level.
Afternoon update (17.15): The morning's brightness quickly gave way to a heavy shower. Some spots of rain mixed with sun on a chilly day, a high of just over 13 degrees.
