MALLORCA TODAY - Call for review of workings of Pollensa town hall

The Alternativa party is leading a call for a review to be undertaken of the workings of Pollensa town hall. To this end, it has requested there be an extraordinary meeting of the council to analyse the situation. There are two key reasons for concern: the fact that mayor Cifre appears to act on occasion without reference to his coalition partners in La Lliga and that La Lliga (and the Convergència) councillors are divided over their support for or opposition to the formation of the new party - Proposta per les Illes - which merges these two parties.
