Starting out bright again with a local high, at 09.00, of 17.9 in Puerto Pollensa. The general forecast for the weekend is not good. The Balearics met centre continues to issue a yellow alert for the possibility of heavy rain and storms which could occur until tomorrow afternoon. The temperature should, however, rise, with 24 expected tomorrow. There will be an improvement next week, but the met centre is pointing out that the belt of cold air which has caused the unsettled weather over the past few days will linger until Thursday and therefore may cause the occasional burst of heavy rain.
It's been another poor day. Much thunder and rain, though the rain hasn't been heavy. Not particularly warm, the local maximum today having been 19.9 in Puerto Pollensa. Elsewhere on the island, the weather has caused problems, there having been delays at the airport because of storms.
