MALLORCA TODAY - Motorway speed limit reduction may last all summer

The Spanish Government has not discounted the idea of keeping in place the reduction to the motorway speed limit (to 110kph) that was due to cease at the end of June and revert back to 120kph. It says that the savings have exceeded those that had been anticipated, but admits that prices of petrol are currently going well. The reduction was introduced in response to fears of disruption in oil supply.
