MALLORCA TODAY - Cifre becomes mayor in Pollensa and promises participation
Tomeu Cifre of the Partido Popular was voted in as the new mayor of Pollensa yesterday, the last-minute pulling-out from an alternative pact of leftist groups by the Esquerra meaning that a combination of the PP and La Lliga was able to form a coalition to which it will hope to add the support of Nadal Moragues of the Unió Mollera Pollencina. Cifre has said that citizen participation will improve during his period of mayor.
