Another uncommonly warm night, it was still 27 degrees at midnight in Puerto Pollensa, for instance. There was distant thunder during the night and some rain around, but at present, at 09.00, the morning is fine and once more quite sticky. Local highs at 25 degrees.
The yellow alert for storms for the area will remain in place during the day. Temperatures are expected to fall today. Tomorrow there are risks of isolated showers, and heading into Monday a similar risk remains but dies out together with a new rise in temperatures.
So much then for the yellow alert and the dire predictions for today. It hasn't been brilliant, with a lot of cloud and a quite cool breeze, but there has also been a decent amount of sun and the highs have been up to 28.
