MALLORCA TODAY - Sa Pobla to ban the burka

Sa Pobla town hall intends to introduce a ban on the wearing of the burka and the niqab in public areas in the town, which would include schools, health centres as well as public spaces, such as squares. The ban, which would include the wearing of any other form of clothing that hides a person's identity, would apply in a town with a 25% immigrant population.
