MALLORCA TODAY - Four hectares claimed by Pollensa fire

A Saturday afternoon and a not unfamiliar sight. A helicopter "bomber" and a Canadair are flying across the bay of Alcúdia on their way to at least two fires, the biggest near Pollensa on the La Salve finca not far from Crestatx. This fire wiped out four hectares of pine forest. A smaller fire was in the mountain village of Fornalutx.
