A cloudy morning with local highs at 09.00 of 24 to 25. The highs should get up to 31, though there is a chance of some light rain.
The month of August was slightly warmer than usual and, with the exception of the 3mm of rain that fell around Alcúdia on 30 August, there was no rain that is commonly associated with the second half of August.
The first few days of September will see some unsettled weather with temperatures falling by up to five degrees and Saturday expected to be stormy.
Well, if the temperatures were supposed to have started falling today, no one mentioned it to the local weather. A steamy high of just under 32 locally with that old heat index climbing to 35 degrees.
