A cool night, surprisingly so for August, and morning temperatures still under 20 degrees by 08.30. However, the unsettled weather of the past two days seems to have gone and today and the rest of the week into the weekend looks set to be very sunny and with temperatures going back up to 30. Today's high likely to be 28.
It has been a pleasant day, breezy by the coast and not unduly hot, with highs just shy of 25 degrees.
