Warm African air has been keeping overnight temperatures well up. They have come down as they normally do towards dawn and the local high is around 22 at 08.00. The forecast for today is some light cloud around but mostly sunny with temperatures to 29 degrees.
It's been a fine day, not excessively hot, with local highs by the coast getting to 28. Just about right really.
