MALLORCA TODAY - Balearics coach drivers strike of 21/22 July is off

The strike of coach drivers in Mallorca and the Balearics that had been planned for 21 and 22 July has been called off. The strike, which would have affected transfer coaches to and from airports as well as excursions, has been avoided thanks to an agreement by which salaries will rise by a base level of 1% with a further 1% for overtime. The calling-off of the strike ends uncertainties regarding flights, which could have been disrupted because of an inability to move passengers.
