A move in the wind today to first westerly and then north-easterly likely to create an at times cloudy day and not as hot as yesterday. At 07.15, there is some cloud and a local high of 23.1C. The cloud is expected to go and leave clear skies tomorrow and for the next few days with temperatures at normal upper 20s levels.
Update: An alert has been put out for high temperatures today (up to 34 degrees) in the south of Mallorca and also for the "rissaga" phenomenon to occur most likely in Menorca but not unknown in parts of Mallorca, especially the north. The rissaga is a meteo-tsunami.
Afternoon update: Don't know about the high temperatures that were meant to have come into the south of the island today, it hasn't been exceptionally hot in the north; 25.6C being the high on a day that did get very cloudy at one stage and which threatened rain but which got sunny in the afternoon.
