MALLORCA TODAY - Granada 2 : 2 Real Mallorca

Real Mallorca had to trek back to Granada to play the final 29 minutes of the game that had been abandoned on 20 November when a freak accident (as it turned out to be) resulted in an umbrella striking a referee's assistant. To add to the bizarreness of the whole occasion, Mallorca and Granada, not surprisingly, couldn't field the same sides that had finished with Granada being two-one up but the then bottom-of-the-table club. At the start of the "re-match", however, Granada were in fact one point above Mallorca.

Anyway, to the game itself - five minutes into the 29 minutes and it was that man Hemed from the penalty spot again to bring Mallorca level. Truly odd, but as it turned out, the final result was just about right, given the balance of play, albeit it was 18 days apart. A useful half an hour's work for Mallorca.
