Pedestrianisation plan and the Don Pedro

As flagged up on 25 July, Pollensa town hall yesterday approved the plan for a development in the Ullal area of Puerto Pollensa which would also involve the developers undertaking the pedestrianisation of the resort's "front line". The town hall has also approved the demolition of the Don Pedro hotel in Cala San Vicente.

That is not true. Please, Pollensa town has NOT approved any plan for the Don Pedro hotel, which is gonna be standing there for the years to come. I KNOW, I work there and i can cofirm it.

This item was based on reports in the Spanish press, one which stated (28 July) that the local government, by which was meant the town hall, had approved modifications to the Mallorca land plan to the effect that Ullal in Puerto Pollensa would be developed and the Don Pedro would be demolished. There is, though, absolutely no time frame as far as I am aware for anything to happen to the hotel, and chances are it will indeed be there for many years to come.
