Some cloud this morning and it may persist, there being the possibility of a sprinkling. Otherwise, all is good and hot, and the chances are that there may be a heatwave on top of a heatwave with temperatures edging a bit higher next week.
Evening update (19.45): The cloud did persist and there was a light and dirty sprinkling. The sun came out after midday, giving a muggy sort of day but a pleasant breeze keeping things in check. A high inland of 32.2C and on the coast of 30.8C.
