MALLORCA TODAY - Castro: the first political casualty of the Balearic Government?

Balearic health minister Carmen Castro has resigned, citing personal reasons. They often are personal reasons, but the resignation comes a few days after an insistence that there wouldn't be any reshuffling of the cabinet and amidst ongoing problems with the local health service, such as the doctors' dispute, now partially resolved, as well as the various cuts to services. Is Castro more a casualty of the government's policies? Whatever, her resignation leaves a PP-run government without a female member of its cabinet for the first time. She is being replaced by Antoni Mesquida, brother of Joan, the former minister of finance in the Balearics with PSOE and national tourism minister.
