The now former mayor of Pollensa is one of those to be cited by investigators dealing with the so-called "caso Bomsai" corruption case. Specifically, Cerdà is set to be required to declare as a person indicted in respect of subventions that were made to a businessman, Jaume Fluxà, from the Council of Mallorca.
