A better morning, still a bit of breeze but the winds are swinging round to west and southwest and so milder air. Today should therefore be warmer as well as sunny. But it's a day to make the most of as the week ahead doesn't look that good: a mix of wind, occasional rain and fluctuating temperatures - colder again tomorrow and then warmer later in the week.
Evening update (18.45): A very respectable high of 17.9C. Plenty of sun but the wind has really picked up again.
