The subject of tourism minister Carlos Delgado and his personal trainer flared up while Delgado was still mayor of Calvià, and it has come up again. The trainer, Younes Ouriaghli, has been appointed as consultant to the Balearics School of Sport (Delgado is also minister responsible for sport), and "Ultima Hora" has revealed that Ouriaghli and his sister, through a company operated by his sister, received some 800,000 euros from Calvià town hall for various projects between 2007 and 2011.
This revelation comes after the recent controversy surrounding Delgado's appointment of his girlfriend to a post in the tourism minister, which was later reversed because of the outcry.
