A fine, sunny morning, with local highs of 23 degrees at 08.30, expected to rise to 29 but for there to also be some cloud build-up and a slight risk of rain. The week ahead looks generally fine with high temperatures staying around 29 and 30 degrees.
The slight risk of rain was all that it turned out to be. Dirty great clouds came along for a time, there was some thunder, and that was it. A little bit of rain, no more, and then the sun came out again. Highs to 27 this afternoon.
