Away against Deportivo, Mallorca edged the first half, scoring through Webó with a header in the 26th minute. The second half saw Deportivo revitalised and taking control of the game, Xisco equalising and then Lassad putting the Galician side in front midway through the half. Deportivo's control caused frustration for Mallorca, striker Webó being sent off just before the end of the game. The defeat is a blow to Mallorca's ambitions for gaining a Europa League spot.
