A very brief shower yesterday afternoon which amounted to very little plus some rumbles of thunder, otherwise still no clear sign that the weather is about to break, though there is a higher risk of rain in parts tomorrow afternoon. Likely to be little by way of breeze again today, so feeling close.
Evening update (23.45): A high of 33.4C. Bizarre this afternoon. There was some rumbling of thunder but the sky was mostly clear when there was lightning and an enormous clap of thunder. No rain, though. Most odd. Tomorrow, however, there are now alerts for both rain and storm.
