Mainly clear skies greet the first day of the summer season and the Labour Day holiday. Sun today but there remains a strong chance of rain tomorrow. Weekend outlook: reasonable but cooler.
Evening update (20.15): A high of 24.4C. Some dark cloud loomed for a while but otherwise all was sunny. Still looking a bit dodgy for tomorrow morning, though.
