Sea conditions (northern Mallorca; Alcúdia and Pollensa bays): North 5 to 6 increasing 7 at times early on. Very rough.
Quite bright and should be bright enough through the day, but wind will be a factor, alerts in place for wind and for rough coastal conditions. Staying windy through the week with temperatures due to fall by the end of the week, bringing the first scattering of snow on the highest peaks.
Evening update (18.30): The wind hasn't been as much of a factor as had been forecast, but alerts are still in place. A high of 20.2C. Forecast is now, by the weekend, for highs in the low teens. Getting chilly.
