Las Palmas 2 : 2 Real Mallorca
After the week off, back to league action for Mallorca away in the Canaries at a team one above Mallorca in sixth place going in to this weekend's round of matches. A cautious opening, and then Masoud put Las Palmas ahead on 22 minutes, the home side going on to dominate the first half and taking a two-goal lead five minutes after the break through Artiles. Mallorca, though, hit back straight away, and it was Alfaro, continuing his goalscoring run, who brought one back. The game was now very much more open, and it was Mallorca who capitalised, Moreno equalising with twenty minutes left. Not a bad result for Mallorca, but the team is still not managing to impose itself in a division in which it should be doing better.
