MALLORCA TODAY - Potato exports to Germany stopped

In light of the cucumber crisis, exports of Mallorcan potatoes to Germany have been paralysed. With sales of cucumber having dropped by up to 80%, farmers will be making moves to seek compensation from Europe for losses in revenue. Some produce is having to be destroyed because it cannot be sold.
