More great difference in temperatures on a clear and sunny morning - from 5 to 14 degrees within the area. The forecast for the week is decent with a good deal of sun, quite typical for January, but perhaps getting colder by next weekend.

Afternoon update (17.45): Another stunning day, the sun strong enough to burn. A high of 20.9C (Pollensa).

Another bright morning, but likely to fairly windy from the west, the wind easing later for the arrival of the Kings in the ports this evening. A sunny day today, tomorrow and Monday, and feeling warm.

Afternoon update (17.15): Positively springlike. A high of 20.6C (Sa Pobla).

Sea conditions (northern Mallorca; Alcúdia and Pollensa bays): North 3 to 4 backing West and Northwest locally West 5 during the morning around Formentor. Waves to one metre easing.

A calmer morning, nice and bright, temperatures varying with a low of 5 degrees. Sunny today and the forecast for Three Kings over the weekend is pretty good: sun, windy at times but no real threat of rain for the evening's processions tomorrow.

Evening update (18.45): A smashing day. Warm in the sun, of which there was a great deal. A high of 18.7C (Sa Pobla).
