MALLORCA TODAY - Real Mallorca 1 : 1 Osasuna

First game back in charge for coach Gregorio Manzano and against Osasuna, just as relegation-threatened as Mallorca. A typical six-pointer, and it was the visitors who looked just a touch more threatening, Rubén heading in but the strike being ruled out for a foul on Aouate. A string of corners for Mallorca led to nothing. Hutton was pulled off at half-time, Hemed coming on to increase Mallorca's attacking options. The change looked to have nearly worked nearly 30 minutes into the second period, but Hemed hit the post. And then, disaster for Mallorca, Lolo heading in from a corner for Osasuna. But ... might this have been the most important moment of the season for Mallorca? Geromel headed the equaliser in added time, Pina having just before seen a header saved.

Things are still critical for Mallorca. Depending on the result of the later Deportivo-Granada match, they could go bottom but the point means they haven't lost touch, being four points behind Osasuna in seventeenth. Next weekend (17 February), away at Valencia.

MALLORCA TODAY - Real Mallorca 1 : 1 Osasuna

Osasuna, seventh in La Liga, away at Mallorca, fifteenth and four points above the drop zone.

A bright opening by both sides, and things were generally even through the first half. Osasuna's Cejudo was a stand-out player and it was justice that it was he, with a left-foot finish, who put Osasuna into the lead on the stroke of half time. Mallorca pressed towards the middle of the second half, introducing Spain under-21 international Nsue for a defender and the change working, Nsue heading in an equaliser from a Tejera corner. Mallorca went for the win in the last minutes, Ramis going close with a header, but the game ended in a draw.

Mallorca:
Aouate; Chico, Nunes, Ramis, Cáceres (Nsue 68); Tissone (Tejera 45), Martí; Pereira, Alfaro (Hemed 47), Castro; Victor
Goal: Nsue (71)
Yellows: Tissone (34), Chico (78)

Osasuna:
Fernández, Bertrán, Sergio, Flaño, Damiá; Lolo, Loe; Cejudo (Nekounam 89), Garcia, Lamah (Torres 73); Nino (Timor 81)
Goal: Cejudo (45)
Yellows: Damiá (7), Cejudo (65), Timor (90+)
