A sunny start, moderate breezes and a local high of 9.5C at 09:00. A yellow alert remains in place for sea conditions and the weekend looks like it will be cold with the probability still of snow at sea level. By Tuesday there does seem improvement in sight with temperatures rising along with the snow line.
Afternoon update: The wind picked up again and though there continued to be a reasonable amount of sun there was also a fair amount of grey and a day's high of just 10.3C.
