Reap the wild wind and all that. It was blowing through the night and still is - up to 70kph. Temperatures on a grey morning between 5 and 7 at 08:30, rain in some areas with the possibility of a bit of snow at sea level.
Afternoon update: The wind has died down to a large extent, but a grey day all through the day, the high just over 8 degrees. There has been sufficient snow in the mountains again for main roads to be closed.
