Nine degrees the high at 09:00 on a morning similar to yesterday with a mix of sun and cloud and only light breezes. The alerts remain in place, however, with strong winds anticipated and still the outside chance of some snow at sea level.
Afternoon update: A northerly blowing up to 60kph has helped to bring down earlier temperatures nearly making double figures to between 5 and 7 degrees. Mainly sunny during the day, there have been some drops of rain but minimal.
