Not as cold, with a high of 6.7C at 08:30, a cloud and blue-sky mix of a morning. There is a warning out still for adverse conditions on the coasts which carries over into tomorrow, but temperatures going up slightly.
Around and about across the island, the most intense snowfalls since 1956 left 30 centimetres of snow in parts of the Tramuntana mountains and Palma experienced its heaviest snow for 55 years.
Afternoon update: A better day certainly. A high of only 8.7 but it felt reasonably warm in what was a good deal of sun, and without the wind, before greying up in mid-afternoon.
