MALLORCA TODAY - Rubalcaba is PSOE's new leader

Former vice-president and failed presidential candidate in November Alfredo Pérez Rubalcaba has been elected as the new secretary-general of the PSOE socialist party of Spain. He received 51.16% of the vote (487 in his favour) to the 48.84% of Carme Chacón with 465 votes.
