MALLORCA TODAY - Balearics deficit is 2.7%

Balearic Government finance minister Josep Aguiló announced yesterday that 2011 had closed with a deficit of 2.7% of PIB (equivalent to GDP), more than the 1.3% it had established as a target with central government but less than the 4.2% it might have been on account of the deficit it inherited on taking office in June.
