A sunny morning with temperatures locally already at 25 degrees by 08.30.
The met office has now officially confirmed what everyone knew - that July was an unusually cool month. It was in fact the coolest since 2002.
Turned out to be a fine day and a hot one, the local maximum (Albufera) just shy of 34 degrees, one of the hottest days of the summer.
