According to figures from SFM, the rail operator, the number of passengers using the train between Palma and Inca and then onto its two branches - Sa Pobla and Manacor - has doubled in the last ten years. This might be considered interesting in light of the fact that further extensions of the rail network - to Alcúdia and Artà - have come to nothing.
