MALLORCA TODAY - Real Mallorca 0 : 0 Sevilla

Following the shockers against Gijon and Barcelona, Mallorca needed a boost to their season against top-six Sevilla. There was little cheer in an unremarkable first half, Sevilla largely dominating play though Mallorca coming into things more towards the break, to make honours even after 45 minutes. Increasingly, into the second half, Mallorca took over, Nsue, for example, drawing a save from Varas. The greater chances fell to Mallorca, still suffering from a failure to convert opportunities. Though the game ended up scoreless, this was a much-improved performance.
