A bright, sunny morn, everything is good in a Mallorcan world, Spain have won the Euros, economic crisis will therefore come to an end and rivers will flow with jobs. Or maybe not. And as a consequence of yesterday's rain ... there are flies, which you never encounter during summer, unless it does rain. 20.5C is your best temperature at 08.00, moving towards the upper 20s later, and the outlook is fine and warming up again.
Yesterday's weather did cause some incidents but mainly in the south of the island, with winds getting up and bringing down trees and there being reports of a tornado, though the met office says that there was no tornado as such.
Afternoon update: A high of only 25C on a day that has been mostly sunny but with some cloud as well. Very much fresher than had been the case.
